Apologies for the crappy photo...Daylight savings has stolen all the good light outside! I still wanted to share this lunch because it's Movember. What is Movember you ask? It's a month of growing mustaches and beards to raise awareness for men's cancers and health. Or a month perfect for Lunchy! For obvious reasons, I have a ton of mustache supplies. When I started this blog a little over a year ago, I had one set of mustache picks that I was using a lot and it just seemed perfect for a logo of sorts.
This simple lunch is a WowButter and jelly sandwich with a homemade pumpkin scone, kiwi and pomegranate seeds. Using a Fred & Friends mustache cookie cutter, I stamped out a stache on the sandwich to make it more fun. Otherwise it'd just be a sandwich. Which I suppose it still is just a sandwich...with WowButter. What's WowButter? It's a soy based alternative to peanut butter that tastes JUST like peanut butter. It's amazing! I could eat the whole jar. For those of you with nut allergies, it's perfect. My kids are hard core peanut butter fans and they love the WowButter to dip apples, put on sandwiches or eat by the spoonful straight from the jar.
